Andrew's newest side project is a study of the books that helped win World War II. His blog BooksForVictory.com discusses the home front book drives, government publishing programs, and book publishers' participation in support of the war effort.	Along with fellow designer Ian Shimkoviak, Andrew hosts a podcast dedicated to book design and publishing. The QuotedQuarterly blog also features Andrew's book store drawings, killed cover designs, and other bookish stuff.
Andrew is an author as well as a designer. In 2010 he self-published the story of his grandfather's charming and indeed thrilling service in WWII. In August 2012 Osprey Publishing is releasing an eBook edition. The book's blog LongshoreSoldiers.com features articles and photos about the US Army port battalions that supplied the Allied invasion through Normandy and the besieged port of Antwerp.	Andrew's wife Kelly runs the popular gluten-free cooking blog, TheSpunkyCoconut.com. Together they have published three cookbooks.
